What are the differences between nylon wheels and nylon abrasive belts? Relatively speaking, polishing wheels (nylon wheels) are much more precise than nylon abrasive belts. This is because polishing wheels are constructed with a three-dimensional nylon web for mechanical support, allowing for elastic grinding, cold cutting, and anti-clogging during workpiece processing. Compared to abrasive belts of the same grit, they have finer and smoother lines, resulting in a more refined and polished finish, meeting the polishing needs of most workpieces.
Polishing wheels, used in the post-processing of abrasive belts and wheels, as well as pre-processing for electroplating and mirror polishing, are important grinding tools. They are essential surface treatment tools, capable of producing workpieces with aesthetically pleasing lines. They are also widely used in the post-processing of household hardware products.
The effectiveness of ordinary abrasive belts depends on the quality of the belt itself. When it comes to the consistency of the wire-drawing effect on workpieces, the precision of ordinary abrasive belts is far inferior to that of nylon wheels.
Furthermore, abrasive belts wear down during the wire-drawing process. This wear and tear means that as the polishing material is used, the nylon abrasive belt becomes duller, resulting in shallower lines. Nylon wheels significantly reduce this problem.
